“In 2006 (February – August) MTE walked around in NYC with his midi recorder and captured the following scenes on tape: blind man crossing a busy street while the light signaled NO WALK – garbage trucks at 3 am – an intense basketball game on West 4th – somebody screaming WIKLAND at a live concert in Brooklyn – a taxi conversation (and a kiss) – subway sounds – car/police/ambulance sirens – voices from Union Square – The above sounds were taken into the studio, manipulated and multi-layered with analog electronics. The music shifts between ambient/dark electronica and abstract-driven sounds that creep in and remind one of  'the big apple'.”
